FIRST FRIDAYS

First Fridays are a free monthly gallery walk which take place in the North Village Arts District. Each month dozens of businesses, galleries and arts studios open their doors to the public for special exhibits, live demonstrations, musical performances, and complimentary refreshments. Resident Arts hosts a different special event each month – visit our Facebook page for details on the next First Friday’s happenings.

ART@CTION: CREATIVE YOUTH LEAD ACTIVISM

In partnership with Access Arts, C.A.R.E. Art Gallery, Central Missouri Community Action, and the Office of Cultural Affairs, Resident Arts helps to empower young people by providing resources and guidance so that they may use their own creative voice to create change in their environments. This partnership meetings twice a month for art making activities, teens and pre-teens are invited to join at any time.
