Sarah Goodnow Riley-Land is a local Columbia, MO artist who has been exhibiting and producing public works since 2010, her exhibition history includes significant installation work for the True/False Film festival, solo shows at RagTag Theater and Cafe Berlin, and has been featured in articles in Vox Magazine and the Columbia Daily Tribune.

For this residency, Sarah proposed an incredible research project that resulted in the construction of a large-scale shrine-like triptych that investigates the histories, stories, and materials which brought about Columbia’s three iconic smokestacks.
