Heaven’s Rivier by Kerry Hirth | April 1 – April 30, 2017
First Fridays Reception April 7, 6-9pm
The light is shattered into gold on every cloud, my darling, and it scatters gems in profusion.
The heaven’s river has drowned its banks and the flood of joy is abroad.
– Rabindranath Tagore
Drawings of music can take away the delay between the raw experiences of sight and sound and their integration into patterns, providing immediate sketches of the profuse configurations and relationships found in an abundant and meaningful world. Beyond our objectives and opinions there is a lonesome, sympathetic, and beautiful creation story raised up with the outpouring of our desire and the power of our insight.
